We had such a wonderful and fun time at Heide + Mark’s beautiful Winter wedding at Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI. Frigid temps and blowing winds couldn’t put a damper on this fab party! They truly had a winter wonderland theme, complete with beautiful red accents and pops of crystal which added lots of BLING! We were so happy Heide + Mark decided to do a First Look before the ceremony at Heide’s mom’s, incredible colonial home along beautiful Lake Michigan! We then ventured outside their home to a small park, bundled up in heavy jackets to capture some fun and beautiful moments. We were escorted throughout the day by Discovery Trolley .
Their reception hall at Blue Harbor Resort was incredible – a perfect venue for a reception even in the Winter! The staff was incredibly kind, extremely prompt and well-organized. The cake designed by Bettersweet Bakery was delicious…Alex may have had a second slice…may have
. Plus, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd after Heide’s Dad’s very special toast – awww! It was a spectacular evening perfect for two amazing people. We’re so very happy for your two! Congratulations!!!!

Jon + Nicole had a beautiful Fall wedding the last weekend in October. They had exquisite flowers designed by Petal Pushers (one of our favorite florists!) and a yummy cake made by Cakescapes. Their DJ was another one of our favorites, The Music Caterer. It was our last wedding for 2012, and it was the perfect way to end our 2012 wedding season. Nicole + Jon were surrounded by tons of loving family and friends. I think everyone had a wonderful day and evening!
Their ceremony was at the very beautiful Holy Family Parish in Brillion. Then, we adventured off to do some very fun, Fall photos at High Cliff. The reception was held at Liberty Hall in Kimberly.
Congratulations Nicole + Jon!

Dom + Amanda | October 20, 2012 | North Shore Country Club
This was our most ‘International’ wedding to date with over 70% of their guest travelling from outside of the United States to come and celebrate with Dom and Amanda on their very special day. To help celebrate the coming together of the two families and to celebrate the vast cultures represented at their wedding, during the cocktail hour, we had an International Photobooth with a series of flags displayed as a backdrop. One flag per each country represented by a family or friend at the wedding. Add in a few fun props and a lot of fantastic personality from guests, and we had one heck of a cocktail hour! Their wedding was a true European wedding full of fantastic hats: big hats, little hats, top cats, red hats – it was awesome!
I learned what the drink ‘Red Eye’ was, and I have a new appreciation for this fantastic drink that Amanda’s family has been manufacturing for decades! They swear that at the first signs of a cold, a sip of ‘Red Eye’ will ward off any nasty cold. Their wedding reception was held at North Shore Country Club in Shorewood. A great venue for this super fun European crowd. They had a beautiful Fall evening full with warm weather, and the perfect sunset!
Dinner was AMAZING! We had fish n’ chips and they were sooo good! That’s one of my favorite dinners we’ve had at a wedding to date! Amanda did her own calligraphy for each of the table cards – beautiful. Each table’s center piece was a beautiful flower from Petal Pushers as well as a famous scientist as both Amanda and Dom are in fact, scientists, studying and living in Boston at the moment. It’s not everyday that Alex and I get to hang out with scientists…
The finale of the evening was an incredible Japanese Lantern release. Over 100 lanterns were released into the cool October sky. It was awesome, and I know everyone had an incredible night!
We met some many wonderful people from all different corners of the world and had a great evening. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your very special day!
