We’re to lucky to have been apart of Matt + Martha’s engagement session, wedding and now trash the dress session. We had a fantastic time cruising around the beach at Kohler capturing a little romance, a lot of fun and tons of great moments for them to re-live over and over!

Kohler Wedding Photography | Stephanie + Kevin | Engagement Session

What better way to spend a super sticky hot day then having a fun picnic and chill in’ at the beach with Alex and I in tow in Kohler? :) We had a fun in the sun engagement session hiking around the dunes and dipping our toes in the freezing water of Lake Michigan. What I love about Kohler-Andrae State Park is that it totally doesn’t fit in Wisconsin. Seriously a desert in Wisconsin?? But, that’s why I love it, it’s very different than the lush rolling hills of Wisconsin and perfect for trash the dress sessions and engagement sessions!

Steph and Kevin are high school sweethearts, having met each other in 11th grade {insert awwww here}. There’s nothing boring about these two, they love to be outdoor hiking, biking, you name it! So what better way to get to know each other better than hiking through the sand dunes of Kohler-Andrae State Park for awesome wedding engagement photos.

The Proposal:
Kevin was home after work before I was on a Monday night. Without knowing, he cooked a great dinner! I came home to a nice setting and we enjoyed a great meal. It is not out of the ordinary for him to cook dinner (he is a great cook), but with the setting, I had a feeling something was up. After we were done eating, he had a very special speech and told me he knew this was right because he wasn’t nervous! Then he asked me to marry him! :)
